Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is where I share with you a book that I am looking forward to reading when it is released.

(idea by Jill from Breaking the Spine)

The Last Straw (Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series #3)
by Jeff Kinney

Let’s face it: Greg Heffley will never change his wimpy ways. Somebody just needs to explain that to Greg’s father. You see, Frank Heffley actually thinks he can get his son to toughen up, and he enlists Greg in organized sports and other “manly” endeavors. Of course, Greg is able to easily sidestep his father’s efforts to change him. But when Greg’s dad threatens to send him to military academy, Greg realizes he has to shape up . . . or get shipped out.

Greg and his family and friends, who make the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books a must-read for middle school readers, are back and at their best in this hilarious new installment of the series, which is sure to please current fans while attracting new ones.

(I can't wait to read this book! I have been counting down the days for months. The first two books were hiliarious and are in my favorite books list. I hope everyone enjoys them too!)

  1. Oh, this book sounds really funny. I'll have to take a look at it!

  2. I keep thinking about picking up this series, but just haven't done so.

  3. A boy of any age would love it. I am sure your nephew would too, Gautami Tripathy.

The Diary of a Wimpy Kids series is definitely worth picking up. I hope you find the time to enjoy them as much as I do, Carol!

  4. I really want to read these books, b/c I have yet too and they seem super cute and funny.

  5. I love this books, their easy to read and funny. Annyone will enjoy them. My sister bought the first two and I took then to school. When it was time to read I took one out and started reading, then I start laughing out loud and the whole class starts looking at me really weird. I apologize and continue reading.

I always like reading comments! So go ahead. It's easy as one, two, three.
